Pennfield Lacrosse!!! Yeah, you heard me, this year is the first year the hard hitting sport comes to Pennfield. This hard hitting, net throwing, fast paced game comes to Pennfield in the spring. AWESOME!!!!
Mr. Moran
Mr. Moran is a great, funny, and nice teacher to have. It is a very playful class, but we learn a lot. Mr. Moran used to coach Pennfield football, but now he coaches Pennfield baseball. The Red Wings are his favorite sports team, but he also likes the University of Michigan football team. He has one daughter named Avery. After this year he will have taught 15 years in Pennfield.
Mrs. Johnson
Mrs. Johnson is a 4th grade teacher. Before she was a teacher, she was a waitress, worked in an office, and was a cashier. Mrs. Johnson has a pet golden retriever named Marley. She loves floor hockey and pizza. Mrs. Johnson's favorite holiday is Easter, and her favorite season is summer. Her favorite baseball team is the Chicago Cubs.
Mrs. Cole-Burland
Mrs. Cole- Burland is a 4th grade teacher. She lives with her husband, Mr.Burland, and three kids whose names are Cole, Abby, and Clayton. Mrs.Cole-Burland has been teaching for 31 years. This Michigan State fan graduated from MSU. Her favorite thing to do is to annoy Michigan fans. Mrs. Cole-Burland wanted to teach because she watched her teacher and wanted to do that for kids. Mrs. Cole- Burland's favorite kind of food is Mexican food. Her favorite food is ice cream. Her favorite football team is Michigan State. GO GREEN!!!
Plus she loves chocolate.
Box Tops
For years students of Dunlap Elementary have been collecting Box Tops to help raise money for the school. What is a Box Top? A Box Top is something that you can find on Kleenex boxes, Hamburger Helper boxes, and some cereal boxes. It needs to say BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION somewhere on the item to be eligible to turn in for gym equipment or playground equipment.
